Great Poetry for Children by Jody Weissler
What would you recommend for anyone who wishes to become a poet like Jody Weissler?
I would first recommend reading as many poems as possible by poets that you appreciate.
I personally have dozens of poems available. Notice the style, ideas, and structure of the poems. Then, I would simply say start writing.
Who is your favorite poet?
When I think of favorite poets a number of poets come to mind including Ken Nesbitt, Jack Prelutsky, Dr. Seuss and more. All in all, the poet that keeps on resonating with me as being the best poet ever would have to be Shel Silverstein.
