Great Poetry for Children by Jody Weissler
By Madison Weissler (age 7)
On nights in October it is cold.
Celebrations are being planned for all the children.
Throughout the month, people pick out their costumes.
Overnight, bats fly through the sky.
Big pumpkins wait to be scooped out and carved.
Extra leaves to sweep in your yard.
Round hedgehogs store their food before hibernation.
